    About

DISCLAIMER: About pages are rather unfortunate as a general rule. They tend to go on about the various virtues and nefarious missions a website may or may not be dedicated to. While they may be boring, and often appear self congratulating, they are a necessary evil. DROIDSPY would like to apologise for any disgruntlement, head shaking, or eye rolling that may be caused by the following text.

    What is DROIDSPY?
Put simply, DROIDSPY is the (future) number one source for information and news regarding Google’s Android OS, the hardware it runs on, and the applications it runs.
DROIDSPY’s general aim is to deliver timely updates in a pleasant, informative and mildly ridiculous manner. Life doesn’t need to be taken terribly seriously, so why should technology?
Currently the site is in a state of infancy, there are liable to be major overhauls to design and functionality as it grows, so be on the lookout.

Who’s the madman behind all this?
DROIDSPY is written and run by an itinerant traveller named Paul Cotton. His single-minded obsession with technology, love of open-source software, and general nerdish behaviour brings tears to the eyes of his girlfriend, close friends, and family. Those are tears of boredom, by the way.
Having been politely (read: vehemently) asked to never speak to any of them about Android again, he sought to find a new audience… here.
